Warehouse EDI Pick & Pack Lead

About the role

You'll oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, with a strong focus on EDI order processing for major retail accounts, pick and pack efficiency, container receipting, and stock accuracy across the team. This role is covering a period of leave (up to 12 months), but the company is open to the candidate being part of the team ongoing long term for the right person.

Key responsibilities

• Process and manage EDI orders for major retail account, ensuring accuracy and on-time dispatch

• Manage inventory control and stock levels

• Monitor performance and ensure accurate order fulfillment

• Supervise and coordinate daily pick and pack operations

• Lead and train a small team of warehouse staff

• Coordinate with logistics and customer service teams

• Liaise with management and other team members

• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment

• Identify process improvement opportunities and implement solutions

• General warehouse duties

About you

• Experience with EDI order processing or major retail order/inventory systems (highly regarded)

• Experience in a warehouse supervisory or leadership role

• Strong knowledge of pick and pack procedures

• Ability to lead, train, and motivate a team

• Forklift license

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Computer proficiency (inventory software, MS Office)

• The ability to prioritise, work efficiently, organise, and be punctual
