Dental Assistant/Practice Manager

Waterloo Dental is looking for an experienced dental assistant to join our team. We are a boutique family owned general practice that offers a range of comprehensive, quality dental care to our wonderful community. Our practice is state of the art and our mission is to deliver excellent patient care.

About the role:

The role is part-time, approximately 20-30hours weekly. A full-time position can be discussed.

Days and hours will be discussed during the interview but can be flexible.

Remuneration will be discussed during the interview and is based on your experience and what you will offer the practice.

Your duties include both chair-side assisting and reception. Experience in Administration and patient management/treatment co-ordination experience will be highly favoured. Duties include:

• Assisting the dentist in a range of proceedures
• Sterilization
• Appointment books
• Payments
• Patient enquiries and treatment-plan coordination
• Ordering and Inventory
• Ensuring the smooth daily operation of the practice
• Patient care
• Cleaning
• Lab work coordination

Previous dental assisting experience is necessary.

Previous dental practice management experience is essential if applying for a management role.
