Position: Retail Sales Assistant

Knife Shop Australia is looking for a reliable, enthusiastic and hands-on person to join our team.
This is a varied role combining retail sales, customer service and ecommerce order fulfilment. You’ll be helping customers in-store while also working behind the scenes to ensure online orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately and efficiently.

The Role
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Assisting customers with in-store sales and product enquiries
• Picking and packing ecommerce orders
• Processing and preparing orders for dispatch
• Receiving, checking and organising incoming stock
• Maintaining accurate stock and warehouse organisation
• Helping keep the showroom and back-of-house areas organised
• Supporting the wider team during busy sales and promotional periods

What We’re Looking For
Ideally, you’ll have previous experience in retail sales, ecommerce fulfilment, warehousing or pick and pack operations.

You’ll be someone who is organised, reliable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail is important — particularly when processing and packing customer orders.
Experience with ecommerce platforms, inventory systems or online retail would be highly regarded.

Knowledge of knives and outdoor products is required, along with a willingness to learn and provide great customer service.

Pay: $26.44 – $28.84 per hour
