HR Driver - Dispatch

G&R Wills require a Full time Warehouse Dispatch Worker with an HR license, for co-ordination of our dispatch area, including delivery to various freight companies. Shifts are Monday to Friday, located near the Darwin International airport.

Shifts typically commence between 6:00AM.

Applicant must have

• HR licence (manual)

• HR (Heavy Rigid) licence specifically required

• Forklift License

• Australian permanent residency status

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily pallets to be taken to freight companies.

• Scheduling delivery appropriately and effectively based on customer requirement and truck's availability ensuring route optimization.

• Ensure the goods are delivered in a timely manner.

• Ensure dispatch is done correctly in the system. This includes run sheet management.

• Wrap, label and ensure invoices attached to pallets before dispatch.

• Logistics including consignment entries and Transport documents. (paper and computer connotes)

• Organization and cleanliness of work area.

Necessary Skills & Experience

• Sound computer skills.

• Positive attitude.

• Ability to work under pressure and prioritise time.

• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills with basic Maths ability (essential).

• Physically fit, as work will involve lifting and moving cartons.

Previous Warehouse experience desirable but not essential, with on the job training provided for the right applicant.

Attention to detail, accuracy, punctuality, adherence to WHS company policies and the willingness to work as part of a team are essential to be successful in this role.
