About the Role

Brisbane Girls Grammar School is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to join our Information Technology team and contribute to the reliable, secure and effective operation of the School's technology environment.

This is a hands-on technical role supporting a diverse enterprise environment across Microsoft 365, Windows operating systems, endpoint management, desktop environments, cloud and on-premises infrastructure, and cyber security.

Working closely with the Infrastructure and Security Manager and the broader IT team, you will play an important role in maintaining and continuously improving the technology systems that support teaching, learning and the day-to-day operations of the School.

About You

We are seeking an experienced systems administrator with strong technical capability and a methodical approach to problem solving.

You will bring:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Networking & Systems Administration
• At least three years' experience in a comparable systems administration role
• Strong experience with Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Configuration Manager and Citrix Virtual Desktop environments
• Demonstrated experience supporting operating systems, applications, endpoint management and enterprise IT environments
• Strong knowledge of contemporary infrastructure, networking and cyber security technologies
• Experience with scripting and automation and a desire to identify opportunities to improve efficiency
• A strong understanding of patch management, endpoint protection, system compliance and cyber security principles
• Excellent analytical and diagnostic skills, with a systematic logical approach to resolving technical issues
• The ability to work collaboratively as part of a high-performing IT team, while also working independently and demonstrating initiative.
