Security Officer | Capalaba Central

We are currently seeking Part-Time, Full-Time and Casual Retail Security Officers to join our team.

Part-time and full-time roles are based at Capalaba Central, while casual opportunities provide work across multiple retail sites in the surrounding area.

• Thursday & Sunday: 1800–0130

• Friday & Saturday: 1930–0130

Week 1

• Monday, Tuesday & Sunday: 0730–1800

• Friday & Saturday: 0730–1930

Week 2

• Wednesday & Thursday: 0730–1800

Casual officers will have the opportunity to work across retail centres including, but not limited to:

• Cleveland Central

• Victoria Point

• Capalaba Central

• Capalaba Park

Shifts and sites will vary based on operational requirements, officer availability and location.

• Deliver friendly, professional customer service

• Maintain a visible presence to deter theft and promote a safe environment

• Patrol retail areas and monitor CCTV for suspicious activity

• Respond to incidents, emergencies and medical situations

• Apply First Aid and CPR when required

• Manage access to restricted areas and loading docks

• Handle conflicts calmly using effective de-escalation techniques

• Prepare accurate incident reports and security logs

• Current QLD Security Licence with Crowd Control Function

• Current First Aid & CPR certificates

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Professional presentation and high integrity

• Reliability and a positive attitude

• Flexibility to work across a retail trading roster

• Driver’s Licence and reliable transport preferred for casual roles

• Ongoing work with consistent part-time and full-time rosters

• Flexible casual shifts across multiple retail centres
