Maintenance Supervisor - Full Time

Our maintenance team is responsible for ensuring all preventative and reactive maintenance task are completed and up to date. This includes hands on work and limiting the need to engage contractors.

This role is Monday to Friday and will be supported by an experienced State Maintenance Manager.

About You:

• Experience in building maintenance
• Knowledge in aged care industry (desirable)
• Thorough understanding of all legislative requirements pertaining to maintenance and repairs i.e. OH&S & Fire/Evacuation
• Ability to perform a wide variety of tasks including use of tools and equipment
• Willingness to contribute to after-hours maintenance requirements from time to time
• Excellent communication skills and respect for residents and colleagues
• Previous experience working autonomously
• Be able to make decisions about costs and priorities and documenting a full plan for work to be completed
• Tech savvy with digital record keeping and communication tools
• Strong problem solving and time management skills

About the Role:

You will lead maintenance operations ensuring both preventative and reactive tasks are completed efficiently while minimising contractor use. Supported by our General Manager of Property and Property and Procurement Officer, your work week is Monday to Friday.
