SEO Specialist All Rounder - Part Time

About the role

GA PERRY Plumbing, Gas, Electrical & Hot Water is seeking an in-house hands-on SEO Specialist all-rounder with the ability to take genuine ownership of our organic, AI-search performance, social and paid digital advertising.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver SEO strategies, conduct keyword, competitor and search-intent research

• Complete technical, on-page, content and backlink audits

• Diagnose crawling, indexing, canonicalization, site architecture and Core Web Vitals issues

• Build prioritised SEO roadmaps and move recommendations into delivery

• Work directly in WordPress, and other CMS platforms

• Develop content briefs, keyword maps and internal-linking plans, implement and validate technical changes

• Use GA4, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Semrush and spreadsheets to identify opportunities

• Track qualified organic traffic, leads, sales and revenue

• Apply practical AI-search and GEO approaches while maintaining strong SEO foundations

About you

• 3–5 years of substantial hands-on SEO experience, preferably in multi-client or multi-national environment

• Ability to investigate technical issues, analyse data, improve content and explain recommendations in clear commercial language

• Ability to demonstrate examples of organic-search results personally helped deliver

• Solid technical SEO, keyword research, on-page, content and internal-linking knowledge

• Confidence to work with the Managing Director putting forward your ideas

• Strong written communication, organisation and commercial judgement

• Experience with eCommerce, large websites, programmatic SEO, and backlink analysis (ideally)

• Australian permanent resident or citizen
