About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and caring Child Care Worker to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will provide care and supervision for children, supporting their learning and development in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the centre’s policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide education and care for babies, toddlers, and young children in a safe and nurturing environment.
• Lead the preparation of materials and equipment to support children’s play, learning, and development.
• Assist in planning, preparing, and conducting educational and recreational activities.
• Supervise children’s daily routines, hygiene, and safety at all times.
• Support children’s social development, guiding cooperative behaviour and positive interactions.
• Maintain respectful and responsive relationships with children and their families.
• Assist in recording and observing children’s development, including maintaining developmental checklists and portfolios.
• Ensure compliance with the centre’s policies, procedures, and health and safety standards.
• Participate in incidental cleaning and housekeeping associated with daily activities.
• Communicate with parents as delegated by the room supervisor or centre director.
• Attend monthly staff meetings and parent meetings as required.
• Contribute ideas and feedback for program development and evaluation.
Requirements:
• Nationally approved Certificate III or higher in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience working in a childcare or early learning setting.
• Demonstrated understanding of children’s development and ability to manage behaviour in a positive and supportive way.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to providing a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
What We Offer:
• Competitive salary of $63,000 – $78,000 per annum plus superannuation.
