About the Opportunity
The Office of the Chief Executive is seeking applications for an Executive Support Officer to provide confidential, high-quality administrative and executive support. This key role is responsible for ensuring the efficient management of sensitive correspondence and records through workflow coordination and mailbox triage. You will also coordinate executive diaries and meetings, manage travel arrangements, and provide proactive, responsive support to departmental executives.
Working closely with senior executives, ministerial offices and key stakeholders, you will deliver exceptional customer service while exercising sound judgement, professionalism and discretion in a fast-paced environment. Success in this role requires strong organisational skills, the ability to manage competing priorities, and a keen eye for detail to ensure consistently high standards of quality and accuracy.
About the Business
The Office of the Chief Executive is responsible for providing support, advice, assurance, risk management and intergovernmental relations services to the Chief Executive to assist in the successful and efficient delivery of AGD objectives. The OCE consists of a small administrative team which sits alongside specialist legal counsel and senior AGD executives.
As a department, the AGD promotes justice by protecting the rights of all South Australians, holding people to account according to the law, improving safety, and contributing to an efficient and fair justice system. Special Conditions for Employment
Employment is dependent upon a National Police Certificate clearance that the AGD finds satisfactory. Successful applicants will be provided further information if an interview is requested. Forms are not to be lodged directly with SA Police (SAPOL) under any circumstances and any fees incurred by applicants in doing so will not be recoverable from the AGD.
A pre-employment declaration must also be completed to the satisfaction of the panel.
