Belmont Private Hospital is a 185-bed acute mental health hospital with an established reputation for excellence in the delivery of a broad range of acute mental health services.  We offer a range of specialty and sub-specialties to meet the needs of the population.  Our hospital expansion makes Belmont Private Hospital the second largest private mental health facility in Australia.

Mandatory Qualifications and requirements:

• Full registration with AHPRA

• Strong focus on patient centred nursing care

• Demonstrated high standards of professional and ethical practice

• Focus on service improvement for delivery of excellent patient care and positive patient outcomes

Required personal competencies:

• Effective time management and coordination skills

• Awareness and practice of legislation affecting nursing practice and health care

• Able to conduct a comprehensive and systematic mental health assessment

• Demonstrated high standards of professional and ethical practice

• Promotes safety, security and personal integrity in the work place

• Ability to work with minimal supervision

• All employees are required to complete and maintain their mandatory education and competencies in accordance with Belmont Private Hospital policies and procedures,

This role is designated as ‘Vaccination Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role'.  It is highly recommended for this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against vaccine preventable diseases during their employment.  You will be asked by the recruiting manager to supply this evidence if you are the preferred candidate for the role.
