Domestic Assistant - Peel

We are currently seeking experienced Domestic Assistant to provide daily support to our residents at Bethanie Peel site, Mandurah.

This role is offered on a Casual Basis. 

Renumeration: $29.98 per hour

The Role

• Maintaining a clean, safe and tidy environment across resident rooms, bathrooms, communal areas and facility spaces.
• Ensuring cleaning supplies and linen stocks are maintained throughout the facility.
• Assisting with laundry duties, including sorting, washing, drying, folding and distributing linen and clothing.
• Following infection control procedures and safe handling practices when processing laundry and cleaning resident areas.
• Reporting any damaged linen, equipment or maintenance concerns as required.
• Working closely with the wider team to ensure the comfort and wellbeing of residents.

About You

• Previous experience working as a Domestic Cleaner, ideally in an aged care, hospital or similar environment.
• Have a ‘can do’ attitude and a genuine compassion for our residents.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to uphold the Mission, Vision and Values of The Bethanie Group.
• Willingness to obtain relevant vaccinations.
• Current NDIS or Valid Police Clearance.
