CAE Australia Flight Training, a leading aviation training provider located at Moorabbin Airport in Melbourne, is currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Aviation Dispatchers.

The Role

As a Casual Aviation Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient dispatch of flights while upholding the highest standards of safety and regulatory compliance. This is a casual role, with shifts available over weekends and for planned and unplanned leave coverage. You will be at the heart of our operations, to deliver exceptional service to our clients. Shift loading applies in accordance with applicable entitlements.

Available shifts may include early starts and late finishes, depending on operational requirements.

About You

We are looking for candidates who:

• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and sound judgement in a busy operational environment.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in their work.
• Can perform effectively under pressure while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and compliance.
• Bring a flexible and proactive approach to work and are comfortable adapting to changing priorities, schedules, and business needs in a dynamic operational environment.
• Are proficient in Microsoft Office applications and can quickly learn new systems and technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintenance of flight operation systems and timely reporting
• Monitoring flight performance and addressing delays
• Implementation and monitoring of daily operations plans
• Schedule flight bookings
• Providing outstanding customer service to internal and external stakeholders
• Completion of administrative tasks related to operations
