About the role
Junior Restoration Technician – Entry Level
We are looking for a motivated and reliable Junior Restoration Technician to join our team.
This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the restoration industry. No previous restoration experience is required, as full training and on-the-job support will be provided.
About the Role
You’ll work alongside experienced Restoration Technicians assisting with the restoration and recovery of properties affected by water, fire, mould, storms and other damage.
Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting with emergency make-safe and restoration works.
Supporting water damage and structural drying activities.
Assisting with mould remediation, fire restoration and cleaning.
Setting up, operating and maintaining restoration equipment.
Helping with site preparation, pack-outs and manual handling.
Maintaining clean, safe and organised work areas.
Communicating professionally with customers and team members.
Completing basic job documentation and reporting.
Following workplace health, safety and industry procedures.
Assisting the team with emergency and after-hours work when required.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on work.
Keen to learn a new trade and develop practical skills.
Friendly and confident when dealing with customers.
Able to follow instructions and work safely.
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
Organised and able to manage different tasks.
Calm and positive when working in challenging situations.
Holds a current driver’s licence – essential.
Previous experience in construction, cleaning, property maintenance, landscaping, carpet cleaning, warehousing or other hands-on work would be advantageous, but is not essential.
