INTERMEDIATE/SENIOR BUSINESS SERVICES ACCOUNTANT – SYDNEY CBD – GLOBAL NETWORK FIRM – DIRECT PARTNER EXPOSURE & ADVISORY DEVELOPMENT (JOB ID 1760)

The Role: 

• Manage a diverse portfolio of business services and taxation clients 

• Prepare and review financial statements, income tax returns, BAS and other compliance obligations 

• Assist clients with tax planning, business structuring and general commercial advice 

• Work closely with Managers and Partners on advisory and consulting engagements 

• Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted point of contact 

• Identify opportunities to improve client processes, performance and business outcomes 

• Assist with workflow management and support junior team members where required 

• Gain exposure to a broad range of industries, entity structures and technical tax matters 

• Contribute to the delivery of high-quality client service and ongoing practice growth 

About You: 

• 3–5 years' experience within an Australian public practice accounting firm 

• Degree qualified in Accounting, Commerce or a related discipline 

• CA or CPA qualified, or nearing completion 

• Strong technical knowledge of Australian taxation and accounting standards 

• Experience preparing financial statements and tax returns across various entity types 

• Excellent communication and client relationship management skills 

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines 

• Professional, proactive and committed to ongoing career development
