Production Quality Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced and driven Production Quality Supervisor to join our Production Quality team. Reporting to the Production Quality Manager, you will be responsible for leading the afternoon shift Production Quality team across two production lines. This will include being present on the line to support production quality teams, ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of existing processes and documentation, reviewing ongoing quality issues, and supporting new model launches to ensure smooth start up.

What you'll be doing

• Leading the production quality teams across our two highest volume production lines, supporting our teams to ensure high performance

• Ensuring the highest possible vehicle quality standards are met

• Ensuring team compliance with OH&S requirements and company standards

• Liaising with Vehicle Processing Centre, Production and Engineering departments to enhance product quality

• Conducting continuous reviews of End of Line, GCA, SQA and gateway checklists

• Reviewing End of Line databases from the production lines and providing regular feedback for continuous improvement

• Supporting new model launches with lineside presence to ensure a smooth start up

What we're looking for in a successful candidate

• A Quality, Engineering or similar qualification, or equivalent experience in a relevant role

• Experience leading teams and working in a team environment, with a proactive attitude to problem-solving

• Experience in the automotive manufacturing industry highly desirable

• Understanding of ISO 9000 systems and commitment to continuous improvement

• Intermediate computer skills with a good understanding of Microsoft Office applications and an ability to develop data and trend charts

• Ability to interpret technical standards drawings
