As our products continue to evolve, so does the way we manage and deliver technical information. We're looking for a Product Documentation Specialist to lead the transformation of our product documentation into a structured, intelligent and connected documentation system.

About the Role

Reporting to the Product Manager, you'll be responsible for the creation, governance and continuous improvement of product documentation across the full product lifecycle.

Working closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Product Management, Marketing and Supply Chain, you'll develop documentation systems that automatically reference product data from authoritative sources, reducing manual effort while improving consistency, accuracy and efficiency.

What You'll Be Doing

• Develop and manage BreatheSafe's product documentation framework, creating structured documentation that integrates with engineering and business systems to ensure product information remains accurate, consistent and up to date.
• Create and maintain high quality technical documentation, including assembly manuals, service manuals, user guides, product catalogues, technical data sheets, case studies and other customer and operational documentation.
• Establish documentation standards and governance, developing templates, style guides, naming conventions and version control processes that support consistency across the organisation and enable efficient document lifecycle management.
• Collaborate across the business, working closely with Engineering, Product Management, Manufacturing, Marketing and Supply Chain teams to source, validate and maintain technical information throughout the product lifecycle.
• Drive continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to automate documentation, improve workflows and implement smarter ways of managing product information as BreatheSafe continues to grow.

About You

You're someone who enjoys bringing structure to complex technical information and understands the importance of accurate documentation in supporting engineering, manufacturing and customer success.

You'll bring:

• Qualifications in Technical Writing, Information Design, Communications, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience in technical writing, product documentation or documentation management within an engineering, manufacturing or technical environment.
• Strong experience developing document templates, style guides and document control processes.
• Experience producing technical manuals, product documentation or operational documentation.
• An understanding of product lifecycle management, ERP systems or engineering databases would be highly regarded.
• Excellent written communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• A collaborative approach with strong organisational and stakeholder management skills.
• A passion for continuous improvement and creating documentation that is accurate, scalable and easy to maintain.
