The Position

Are you an Accounts Receivable whiz who’s equally great with people?  We’re seeking a structured, empathetic, and solution-oriented Accounts Receivable Officer to own our collections process.

In this role, collections aren’t just about the numbers – they’re about the relationship.  We interact with customers regularly, in both good times and bad, and we’re looking for someone who can manage cash flow firmly while protecting the long-term health and trust of our customer partnerships.  This is a part-time role, working 30 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities 

Relationship-driven collections:  Ensure timely collection of receivables within customer terms while preserving vital business relationships. 

Sales team collaboration:  Partner closely with our Sales team to investigate customer issues, resolve billing discrepancies, and achieve mutually positive outcomes.

Ledger management:  Verify, classify, compute, post, and record daily accounts receivable data with precision.

Payment processing:  Process account and incoming payments and prepare secure bank deposits.

Reconciliation and reporting:  Reconcile the AR ledger, generate customer statements, and prepare detailed status reports.

Team support:  Assist with Accounts Payable as required, and handle office correspondence and filing.
