The practice has been in the same Eastern Suburbs community since 1980. It's the quieter of the group's two sites here, which is the point — room to build at your own pace, with a dedicated consulting room waiting and a patient base that's been coming through the door for four decades.

Private billing, 15-minute appointments. Saturday mornings run private-only at higher fees with 75% to you, which is the fastest way to build early if you want it.

The group is corporate but doesn't run like one. The Operations Manager came up through the business from a clinical background and answers his own phone! No call centre, no pressure to bill a certain way. Full clinical autonomy, and a practice manager on site as well.

• 6 to 8 consulting rooms, with one dedicated to you
