About the Role

We are growing and have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and customer focused freight forwarding professional to join our team as an Operations Officer! This role will take your career to the next level and is an amazing opportunity to apply your skills and grow your career.

Based in our Southbank head office, you will join a friendly, passionate, and supportive team that has a wealth of experience and knowledge and that will support your professional growth.

Your day-to-day will involve performing end-to-end freight forwarding operations and developing and maintaining relationships with our clients and service providers. Our “Commitment to Service” philosophy encourages every member of our organisation to provide a high level of proactive customer service and support.

As an experienced freight forwarding operator, you will know the role is hands on and can be busy, and you will relish both the challenge and opportunity to go the extra mile and deliver an amazing customer experience for our clients.

To be successful you will:

• Have prior experience with end-to-end import / export freight forwarding operations

• Prior experience with bulk liquids and ISO-tanks and Flexitanks will be highly regarded, but is not necessary

• Be well organised, with a strong attention to detail

• Be able to effectively manage your time to meet deadlines

• Enjoy helping customers, with a drive to deliver outstanding customer service

• Be an excellent communicator over phone, MS Teams and email

• Enjoying working as part of a team, and independently

• Have basic computer skills with Cargowise, ICS and 1-Stop knowledge and experience (or similar) highly desirable
