About the Opportunity

We’re looking for passionate Sommeliers to join Wishbone's opening team. This hands-on role focuses on exceptional wine service, cellar management and creating memorable guest experiences.

You’ll work alongside Loïc Avril, Group Wine Director, and Yuki Hirose, Group Head Sommelier, who lead Lucas Collective’s wine programs across the group.

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience as a Sommelier in a quality or premium dining environment
• Strong knowledge of New and Old World wines
• Genuine passion for wine and hospitality
• Exceptional guest service and wine presentation skills
• Strong communication, organisation and time management
• Knowledge of cellar, stock and inventory management
• Keeps up to date with wine and industry trends
• Adaptable and confident in high-pressure service
• Ability to build strong relationships with guests and team members
• WSET or similar qualification highly regarded
• Victorian RSA certificate
• Full-time availability, including weekends, public holidays and opening/closing shifts
