CIVIL PIPE LAYER - SOUTHEAST QUEENSLAND
Full-Time | Immediate Start | Ongoing Work
Join a fast-growing civil contractor with a strong pipeline of work across Southeast Queensland.
We’re looking for an Experienced Civil Pipelayer who wants long-term stability, consistent hours and the chance to be part of a reliable, hard-working crew delivering quality civil infrastructure projects.
If you take pride in setting pipe correctly the first time, working safely around live services and machinery, and being part of a team that values practical skill and reliability, this is an opportunity to secure ongoing work with a business that backs its people.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Your duties will include:
Installation of sewer, stormwater and water pipelines
Reading and interpreting construction drawings, plans and levels
Setting pipework to the correct line, level and grade
Installation of pits, manholes, valves and associated infrastructure
Trenching, bedding, backfilling and compaction activities
Working safely around excavations, machinery and existing services
Assisting with general civil construction duties as required
Completing work in accordance with project specifications and quality requirements
ABOUT YOU
To be considered, you will have:
Previous experience as a civil pipelayer
Experience installing sewer, stormwater and water infrastructure
The ability to read plans and work accurately to levels and grades
A current Construction White Card
A current Australian driver license
A strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
The ability to work effectively as part of a civil construction crew
A reliable attitude and willingness to undertake hands-on work
The following would be highly regarded:
Excavator, Skid steer or loader tickets
Confined Space Entry certification
Working Safely at Heights training
Trenching and shoring experience
Dogging or basic rigging qualification
Experience working on council or utility infrastructure projects
HR or higher-class driver license
