Avionics and Calibration Services / MARCOMM - Belmont WA.
Join a respected aviation maintenance organisation.ACS MARCOMM is a family-owned aviation maintenance organisation with over 30 years of experience supporting Australia's aviation industry. We specialise in aircraft avionics, aircraft battery maintenance and calibration services, providing high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service to airlines, helicopter operators and general aviation customers throughout Australia.
We're looking for a motivated Aircraft Battery Technician to join our friendly workshop team.
Whether you have previous aviation experience or come from a mechanical, electrical or technical background, we'd like to hear from you. If you have the right attitude and a willingness to learn, we'll provide the training.
About the RoleWorking within our battery workshop, your responsibilities will include:
Inspection, testing and maintenance of aircraft batteries.
Battery capacity testing and fault diagnosis.
Battery servicing and overhaul.
Preparing maintenance documentation.
Working in accordance with CASA Part 145 procedures and company quality systems.
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe workshop.
Assisting with general workshop duties as required.
You'll ideally have:
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Excellent attention to detail.
Good computer and written communication skills.
The ability to follow technical manuals and documented procedures.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A current Australian Driver's Licence.
Desirable (but not essential):
Experience in aviation maintenance.
Aircraft battery maintenance experience.
Trade qualification in mechanical, electrical, electronics or aviation.
Experience working within regulated industries.
