Due to continue growth Burke & Wills Joinery is currently seeking THREE motivated, reliable and hardworking Apprentice Cabinet Makers to join our growing commercial joinery team.

We manufacture and deliver high-quality commercial joinery projects across Australia and are looking for apprentices who are eager to learn, take pride in their work and want to build a long-term career in the industry.

We welcome applications from people looking to commence their first year as well existing second, third- and fourth-year apprentices wanting to continue tehri training and professional and supportive environment

This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working towards your nationally recognised qualification and learning from experienced tradespeople in a supportive workshop environment.

You Will Learn and Do

You will be involved in the full lifecycle of commercial joinery projects, including:

• Assisting with the manufacture and assembly of cabinetry and joinery components

• Manufacturing and assembling cabinetry and commercial joinery

• Reading and interpreting plans and workshop drawings

• Using hand and power tools safely and correctly

• Learning machinery processes under supervision

• Assisting with preparation and installation of joinery

• Loading and unloading materials and completed joinery

• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe workshop environment

• Following all workplace health and safety procedures and PPE requirements

• Supporting the team across factory and site activities when required

• Reliable attendance and punctuality

• Positive attitude and ability to work within a team

• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

• Commitment to workplace safety

• Driver’s licence and reliable transport preferred

• White Card preferred or willingness to obtain

• Australian citizen or permanent resident preferred
