Hoist Installer/Int Rigger - SEQ

NW Mining & Civil are seeking experienced Hoist Installers/Int Riggers to join our client’s team on current & upcoming construction projects happening in the South East QLD region.

Our client is a leader in the tower crane and materials handling industries, servicing clients throughout SE QLD and northern NSW. As we support them to provide skilled labour to their valued clients, you will be joining a team that values safety, reliability, innovation and career progression.

Based out of the Yatala yard, several vacancies exist for hoist installers with experience erecting, climbing and dismantling construction hoists on high rise buildings. Experience with YHX, Alimak or similar hoists is essential.

You should also have the ability to read and work from engineering drawings, and a strong understanding of hoist configurations and site constraints.

Along with the above experience, the right attitude & work ethic are crucial to succeed. Applicants should be reliable, versatile, team players and great communicators.

Depending on workloads, your roster may be Mon-Fri or Mon-Sat, working between 8-12hr shifts with 10 being the most common.

Pay rate is $60-65/hr + penalties for this casual work, which is inclusive of all industry allowances.

Please ensure you meet the following mandatory criteria to apply:

• Min 2 years intermediate rigging installing hoists on high rises
• RI or RA high risk licence
• Working at heights (within the last 2 years)
• Construction card
• Current drivers licence and/or reliable transport
