St John of God Midland Public Hospital provides both public services for people living in Perth's eastern suburbs and nearby regional areas. The hospital includes an Accident and Emergency Department, critical care unit, mental health unit, and maternity ward.
Your role
We are now seeking motivated and compassionate Grade 1 Dietitian's to join our highly skilled Allied Health team. This is an excellent opportunity to build your clinical expertise while working within a supportive multidisciplinary team committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
In this role, you will provide evidence-based clinical nutrition and dietetic services across a diverse acute healthcare setting. You will undertake comprehensive nutrition assessments, develop individualised nutrition care plans, and deliver patient-centred interventions that optimise health outcomes. Working collaboratively with medical, nursing, and allied health professionals, you will contribute to high-quality, holistic care for a broad range of patients.
As part of St John of God Health Care, you will be supported to grow your skills while practising in accordance with Dietitians Australia Professional Standards, the Code of Conduct, and SJGHC policies and guidelines, ensuring the highest standards of clinical excellence and professional practice.
We currently have 3 permanent full-time (PFT) positions working 38 hours per week, 1 permanent part-time (PPT) position working 28 hours per week, as well as casual and fixed-term opportunities available.
In this position you will
Essential Criteria
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the ability to apply evidence-based practice and sound dietetic knowledge to deliver high-quality patient care. You will possess excellent organisational and time management skills, communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, and thrive in a collaborative multidisciplinary team environment.
You will hold a tertiary qualification in Dietetics and be eligible for full membership with Dietitians Australia (DA), with current Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) status. Your commitment to professional excellence and patient-centred care will enable you to make a meaningful contribution to our Allied Health team.
