Receptionist & Administrator

Marand Precision Engineering is looking for a friendly, organised and professional Receptionist & Administrator to join our team.

As the first point of contact for visitors, customers and employees, you'll play a key role in creating a positive first impression while ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our front office. This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a busy environment and takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service and administrative support.

Reporting to the Senior Administration Assistant, you'll provide professional reception and administrative support across the business, helping ensure the office operates efficiently while delivering an exceptional experience for visitors and employees alike.

• Welcome visitors, customers and contractors in a professional and friendly manner.
• Maintain a welcoming, organised and professional reception area.
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls and enquiries.
• Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail and courier deliveries.
• Monitor shared inboxes and manage enquiries appropriately.
• Coordinate meeting rooms and visitor requirements.
• Provide administrative support across the business.
• Order and maintain office, stationery and kitchen supplies.
• Assist with travel bookings, meetings and site events.
• Maintain accurate records and support document management.
• Provide general support to the administration team.

You enjoy helping people and delivering exceptional service. You're organised, approachable and able to manage competing priorities while maintaining a calm and professional manner.

To be successful, you'll have:

• Experience in a receptionist, front office or administration role.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• A warm, professional and welcoming approach.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• The ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Sound Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to support the broader team.
• Experience in manufacturing, engineering or a similar industrial environment will be highly regarded but is not essential.

Due to the nature of our work and customer requirements, applicants may be required to hold Australian citizenship and satisfy ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) and/or EAR (Export Administration Regulations) eligibility requirements.

Successful applicants may also be required to complete a National Police Check, obtain a Commonwealth Defence Security Clearance and participate in random drug and alcohol screening as part of our commitment to safety and security.
