• HEW 2 ($44.43 per hour, inclusive of 25% loading)

About the opportunity:

As a casual Gym Instructor, you will:

• Provide core services to members, including screenings, physical assessments and designing individual and group fitness programs in accordance with ACU Active policies and procedures.

• Supervise the gym floor and assist with operational needs, including welcoming new members, providing training advice, correcting exercise technique, cleaning equipment, adhering to OH&S/WHS requirements and gathering member feedback.

• Deliver high-quality customer service and communication to existing and prospective members.

• Assist in the development, implementation and review of member engagement programs and services.

• Provide social media content to engage, motivate and educate current and prospective ACU Active members.

You will need to have:

• Completed a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Sport Science or a related field.

• Sound knowledge and technical skills in prescribing and supervising both individual and group exercise programs.

• Current First Aid and CPR certification.

• Valid Victorian Working with Children Check

• Well-developed communication skills, including the ability to liaise professionally with peers, colleagues and clients at all levels.
