RMK Construction Surveyors, who have been in the industry for 25 years, is expanding their team and need an enthusiastic surveyor to bring their skills and experience to the business.
We are seeking another skilled member of our survey team to work in Melbourne's outer metropolitan area. Predominantly in the Western and Northern Suburbs.
We specialize in new subdivision construction sites and other civil road projects, in particular the set out of roads/bridges, drainage, sewer and various infrastructures.
Skills and Requirements
The ideal candidate must have surveying experience, including but not limited to the following:
Civil road construction set out experience including roads, drainage, sewer etc.
The ability to read and interpret civil construction drawings.
CAD experience in particular 12D and/or Liscad is preferred but not mandatory
A current driver's license.
A Keen and self motivated attitude

About The Role
Working across multiple sites in various environments, the role will see you:
Conduct survey set out as directed from the Survey Manager and Site Supervisor.
Survey set out of Roads & Drainage, sewer & associated infrastructure. Quantity volume surveys & As-builts as required. Control and GPS localisations.
Work with Leica Survey equipment including Robotic Total Station, Network GPS systems.
Carry out field, office & maintenance duties as required.
Other influential criteria include:
3 + years experienced Graduate or Diploma or equivalent
Bachelor's degree in Surveying/Geomatics OR Diploma in Surveying with 3+ years practical experience
Leica Survey equipment experience
Construction Industry Red/White Card
Tertiary qualification in Surveying or relevant practical site experience
Excellent technical skills and proficiency in the use of survey equipment and software
Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to work on varied sites and locations required.
