Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the Head of Transport AU will lead the strategic, operational and commercial performance of one of the region's largest transport operations, driving sustainable growth, customer value, operational excellence and profitability across Australia.

The Opportunity:

As a key member of the AU Executive Leadership team, you will be responsible for the overall performance and future direction of the Transport function across Australia.

You will balance long-term strategic ambition with disciplined operational execution, ensuring DHL remains the partner of choice for customers seeking innovative, reliable and sustainable transport solutions.

Working across a broad stakeholder landscape, you will influence executive leaders, customers, carriers, industry partners and global DHL stakeholders while fostering a culture focused on safety, performance and continuous improvement.

What You'll Lead:

• Champion a safety-first culture where Safety is Everyone's Responsibility.
• Define and execute the AU Transport strategy aligned to DHL Supply Chain's growth ambitions.
• Deliver outstanding commercial, operational and customer outcomes across the transport function.
• Drive optimisation, productivity and service excellence while balancing cost, speed and reliability.
• Lead strategic customer, carrier and industry partnerships.
• Own P&L performance, investment decisions, risk management and governance.
• Build and develop a high-performing leadership team to deliver sustained business success.

What You'll Bring as the Ideal Candidate:

You are a commercially astute, enterprise-minded leader with a proven track record of leading large-scale transport and warehousing operations.

You combine strategic vision with operational discipline, translating ambitious goals into measurable outcomes. You build trust quickly, influence at executive level and create alignment across complex stakeholder groups. You are known for developing high-performing teams, simplifying complexity, making clear decisions and leading confidently through change.

Most importantly, you bring the resilience, credibility and leadership presence to inspire people, drive transformation and deliver sustainable results.

• Significant senior leadership experience within transport and omnichannel supply chain environments.
• Strong commercial acumen, including P&L ownership and growth delivery.
• Experience leading large, complex operational businesses across multiple locations.
• Deep understanding of transport operations, network optimisation and customer-led solutions.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing capability.
• Strong governance, risk and safety leadership credentials.
• Tertiary qualifications in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics or a related discipline (MBA advantageous).
