About the Role

We are seeking a passionate Speech Pathologist to join our homecare team. In this role, you will be working for our homecare clients around Toowoomba areas.

As a Speech Pathologist at Vivir Healthcare, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional Speech Pathology services. Reporting to our Clinical Services Team, you will collaborate closely with leaders across our network, ensuring top-notch care for clients is met. Some of regular duties include:

• Conducting dysphagia assessments and managing complexities in aged care and community settings
• Assessing and managing speech, language, voice, and neurological conditions
• Empowering clients to achieve optimal function and quality of life through tailored interventions
• A flexible approach to clinical care, with the ability to work autonomously.
• Educating clients, families, and staff on dysphagia and communication strategies
• Advocating for comprehensive Speech Pathology services

About You

• SPA membership eligibility and current registration
• Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology or equivalent 
• Current Drivers’ license and reliable vehicle.
• Possesses Professional indemnity insurance, or willing to obtain it.
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, or willing to obtain it.
• Has 2026 Flu Vaccine Certificate, or willing to obtain it.
• Has COVID vaccine certificate, or willing to obtain it.
