In this role, you'll:

Play a key role in supporting the safe and effective operation of Transport's camera enforcement network across NSW. Working within the Asset Management team, you'll undertake the installation, testing, maintenance and repair of camera systems and associated technologies, helping to ensure their ongoing reliability and compliance.

You'll coordinate with camera, security and construction contractors to deliver maintenance activities and technical repairs, while also conducting troubleshooting, audits and field testing to maintain the integrity of enforcement systems. Drawing on your technical expertise, you'll contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, support innovation in camera operations, and help ensure systems meet legislative, operational and quality requirements.

The role involves working across a variety of metropolitan and regional locations, undertaking hands-on technical work in the field and supporting the delivery of critical road safety programs that benefit our customers and communities.

About you

You are a technically skilled and safety-focused professional with experience installing, configuring, maintaining and fault-finding electronic equipment in field-based or remote environments.

As the Enforcement Technician, you will have strong communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team. You take pride in delivering quality outcomes, following established procedures and maintaining accurate records to support operational and compliance requirements.

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

• Experience using technical testing and diagnostic equipment in field-based environments.
• Demonstrated experience installing, maintaining and troubleshooting electronic or technology-based systems.
• A strong commitment to safety, quality and compliance.
• The ability to analyse and resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively.
• Flexibility to travel and work outside standard business hours, including occasional night and weekend work as required.
• A current Australian Driver Licence.
• A Construction White Card.
