Cabinet maker/Joiner

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Cabinet maker/Joiner to join our team at Biscuit Joinery in Brookvale, NSW. This full-time position will see you play a key role in the production and installation of high-quality custom cabinetry and joinery for residential clients. As a Cabinet maker/Joiner, you will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of each project, from interpreting design plans to precision fabrication and seamless on-site installation.

What you'll be doing

• Reading and interpreting design plans and specifications to determine project requirements

• Measuring, cutting, assembling and finishing cabinet boxes, doors, drawers and other joinery components

• Installing cabinetry, benchtops, shelving and other joinery on-site

• Troubleshooting and resolving any installation issues that may arise

• Ensuring all work meets quality standards and client expectations

• Maintaining a clean, safe and organized workshop environment

What we're looking for

• Formal qualification in Joinery/Cabinet Making or a related trade

• 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Cabinet maker/Joiner, ideally within a custom joinery or cabinetry business

• Expertise in using power tools, hand tools and workshop machinery

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• Good communication and customer service skills

• A reliable, proactive and team-oriented approach
