About the Role:

We are seeking Night Registered Nurses to join our team on a Part Time basis.

Shift Times: 10:00pm to 7:00am (Wednesday & Thursday)

You will be based at our Wahroonga House, located at 31 Pacific Highway Wahroonga NSW 2076

Wahroonga House is seeking experienced Night Registered Nurses to provide high level clinical care to meet resident’s individual care needs that will help enhance their quality of life. This includes ensuring that our resident care and treatments are documented to meet regulatory requirements, communicating effectively with residents, medical practitioners, allied health professionals and relatives as well as providing leadership and supervision to other nursing staff. This position will suit professional RNs who are flexible and passionate about aged care.

Skills and Experience:

• Current AHPRA registration (Essential).

• At least 2-3 years experience as an RN in Australia (Desirable)

• Valid Police Check (Essential).

• A good understanding of contemporary aged care, clinical practice and clinical leadership in a residential setting.

• Ability to problem solve, negotiate, mediate and resolve conflict.

• Great communicate skills and confidence to lead and actively contribute to a team.

• Strive for excellence in customer service and promote an environment of harmony and trust.

• Demonstrated high level organisational and time management skills.

• Excellent written documentation and assessment skills.

• A good knowledge of the aged care accreditation standards.

• Provide mentoring and supervision of PCW-DCs

• Confident and experienced in supervision of other nursing staff
