We are seeking a Civil Team Leader to lead and grow our NSW capability. This role combines people leadership, business development and hands-on project delivery across complex projects including defence, health, government, mission critical and industrial developments.

You will play a key role in developing team capability, strengthening client relationships, and driving sustainable growth, while remaining actively involved in delivering high-quality engineering outcomes.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing civil team, driving engagement, capability uplift and alignment with ACOR’s national standards and cultureDrive business development by building strong client relationships and securing new project opportunities across target sectorsLead and contribute to the delivery of complex, multi-disciplinary civil projects, ensuring high-quality, compliant and commercially successful outcomesOversee project performance, resourcing and risk management, supporting strong commercial outcomes across the project portfolioSupport the growth of NSW capability through strategic input, team planning and continuous improvement of systems, processes and delivery practices

Requirements

Degree qualified Civil Engineer with CPEng (or working towards) and demonstrated experience delivering complex projects from concept through to deliveryProven experience in leading and developing teams, including coaching, performance management and building high-performing culturesStrong business development capability, with a track record of building client relationships and winning workStrong technical expertise in civil engineering design and project delivery, including multi-disciplinary project exposureCommercial acumen with a strong understanding of project performance, utilisation and financial outcomes
