Façade Access Equipment Installation and service Technician

FacadeXS (Previously known as XSPlatforms) is a leader and innovating European engineering company manufacturer of façade access equipment and Building maintenance Units.

FacadeXS Australia is looking for motivated electrician / BMU technician / Crane technician/ Service technician that is up to the challenge to learn and work in the installation and maintenance of our equipment.

• Installation and maintenance of façade access equipment and building maintenance units (BMUs)

• Full time role

• Global company with opportunities to assist in installations overseas

• Based in Sydney with interstate travel

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections, maintenance, and installations of mechanical and electrical components of building maintenance units.

• Fault finding and diagnosis of faults mechanical and / or electrical.

• Operate and provide instructions in how to use our equipment safely;

• Have good communication with clients and within the team; and

• Be part of a small team and be able to work independently and flexibly.

Skills / Qualifications Required:

• Be safe. A strong commitment to safety

• Australian recognised A Grade Electrician License (Essential)

• Rights to work in Australia.

• Physically fit and comfortable working at heights.

• Experience that can be applicable to our equipment / industry. Electrician, fitter, hoists, motors, etc (not essential)

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• A motivated, positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.

• Willing to learn and listen

• Understand safety procedures, able to learn how to complete safe work statements

• Work weekends and overtime on occasions

• Availability for interstate travel

• Enjoy your work
