Are you an experienced governance and project delivery professional who thrives in complex transformation programs?

We're seeking an experienced Project Delivery Governance Lead to play a key role in a major Systems Transformation Program on a 2-year contract part- time 22.80 hours - 3 days per week 

Reporting to the Program Director, you'll work as an embedded member of the project delivery team, ensuring governance activities support effective decision-making, strong project controls, and successful delivery outcomes. This is a hands-on governance role that works closely with project leaders, business stakeholders, and vendors to maintain visibility of delivery progress, financial performance, risks, issues, and dependencies across a complex multi-stream program.

This is not a traditional administrative PMO role. You'll work closely with program leaders, workstream leads, business stakeholders and vendors to stay connected to delivery realities, proactively identify emerging risks and dependencies, and provide the governance insight needed to keep a complex transformation on track.

What you will be doing:

• Coordinate Steering Committee and governance forums, including reporting, agendas, packs and action tracking.
• Consolidate project updates into concise, executive-ready status reports and decision papers.
• Monitor project plans, milestones, dependencies and critical path activities.
• Facilitate risk, issue, action and decision management across the program.
• Support project financial governance, including budget tracking, forecasting and variance reporting.
• Maintain project controls, governance records and reporting artefacts.
• Partner with workstream leads, vendors and stakeholders to identify emerging issues and support informed decision-making.

You will bring:

• Experience in project governance, PMO, project controls or program delivery coordination within complex transformation environments.
• Strong experience supporting Steering Committees and executive governance forums.
• Proven capability in risk, issue, dependency and decision management.
• Experience supporting project financial reporting and forecasting.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear executive-level reporting.
• A collaborative approach, sound judgement and the confidence to constructively challenge and influence stakeholders.

Desirable

• Experience in HRIS, payroll, workforce management, ERP or large-scale systems transformation programs.
• Exposure to aged care, healthcare or not-for-profit environments.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Business, Technology, Project Management or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• PMO, Project Management, PRINCE2, Agile, PMBOK or related certifications are desirable.
