About the role
As a Veterinarian at Pet Doctor Woodville, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality medical care to our patients and supporting their families. This casual position is an opportunity to join a dedicated and compassionate team committed to animal health and wellbeing.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting thorough physical examinations and diagnosing medical conditions.
• Performing medical and surgical procedures, including routine and complex surgeries.
• Developing and implementing treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
• Providing anaesthetic monitoring and overseeing patient recovery.
• Interpreting diagnostic tests such as blood tests, radiographs, and other in-house pathology.
• Communicating clearly with clients about diagnoses, treatment options, follow-up care, and preventative health.
• Working collaboratively with our nursing and reception team to deliver exceptional care.
• Maintaining accurate and detailed medical records.
• Contributing to a clean, safe, and well-organised clinical environment.

What we're looking for

• A qualified and registered Veterinarian.
• Experience working in a small-animal clinic is preferred.
• New graduates are welcome to apply.
• Strong clinical, diagnostic, and surgical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• A compassionate, patient-focused approach to veterinary care.
• Ability to work effectively within a supportive team environment.
