Industrial Door Technician

QLD Door Doctors is a well-established company specialising in the repair, maintenance and installation of industrial and commercial door systems. We provide a large range of service and products to an ever growing customer base, from the North Side to the Gold Coast. As a result of continued growth we are looking to add to our team. Industry experience preferred but not essential as training will be provided. Mechanical/building qualifications/knowledge and mechanical aptitude are highly regarded. Similar service style back ground also an advantage. 

In this role no 2 days will be the same, interesting and varied work. A family owned business with a good team of 12 staff with family oriented environment.

Key Roles

Service, Maintenance and Installation of all types of industrial, commercial and garage doors. Sliding and swing gates. Motors and remote control units.

Requirements

Positive attitude and highly motivated person

Reliable and Honest

Clean and Tidy in appearance

Healthy and Reasonably fit ( Some lifting is required )

Good Communication, language and literacy skills

Mechanical aptitude 

Ability to work at heights

Problem solving skills and a clear thought process

Fault finding ability

Basic electrical circuit understanding

Power and hand tool experience essential

Pride in your workmanship with a strong attention to detail

Have excellent customer service skills

Open licence ( Truck Licence is an advantage )

Forklift licence ( Licenced is an advantage )

EWP & Hiab experience ( Licenced is an advantage )

Industry White Card

Arc welding experience highly regarded
