What You’ll Be Doing
• Building secure, nurturing and respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Supporting the delivery of high quality educational programs aligned with the EYLF and approved learning frameworks.
• Maintaining active supervision and contributing to safe, calm and engaging learning environments.
• Supporting children’s learning, wellbeing, agency and development through intentional teaching and meaningful interactions.
• Contributing to reflective practice, planning, documentation and continuous improvement processes.
• Working collaboratively as part of a professional and supportive team environment.
• Upholding professional boundaries, ethical conduct and child safe practices at all times.
• Following all legislative reporting obligations, mandatory reporting requirements and organisational policies and procedures.
What You’ll Bring
• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care. (or working towards)
• Current Working With Children Check/Blue Card.
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications, or willingness to obtain.
• Current Child Protection training and understanding of mandatory reporting obligations.
• Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and approved learning frameworks.
• Strong understanding of child safe practices, active supervision and professional responsibilities within early childhood education and care.
• Warmth, professionalism and genuine passion for working with children.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Commitment to inclusion, reflective practice and ongoing professional growth.
