Front of House Waitstaff

Our Eatons Hill restaurant is looking for an experienced and motivated Assistant Front of House Manager to join our team.

This is a full-time leadership position for someone who is ready to move beyond simply running shifts and take genuine ownership of the FOH operation.

We're looking for someone who understands that great hospitality is about more than getting through service. It's about leading people, creating exceptional guest experiences, driving sales and building a team that wants to come to work and be successful.

Working closely with the Restaurant Manager, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day leadership of the restaurant.

You'll be expected to:

• Lead, coach and develop our FOH team.

• Run organised, efficient and high-performing shifts.

• Deliver consistently excellent guest experiences.

• Drive sales through service, engagement and effective upselling.

• Lead by example and set the standard for the team.

• Support labour management and ensure staffing levels match the business.

• Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness and service.

• Assist with training and development of new and existing team members.

• Monitor wastage, stock control and COGs.

• Handle guest feedback and resolve issues professionally.

• Support the Restaurant Manager with the overall operation of the venue.

• Take ownership and responsibility when the Restaurant Manager isn't on site.

We're looking for someone with energy, maturity, accountability and a genuine passion for hospitality.

You'll ideally have:

• Previous experience in a FOH supervisory or management role.

• Strong leadership and communication skills.

• Experience working in a busy hospitality environment.

• The confidence to lead a team through busy services.

• A strong understanding of guest experience and service standards.

• A commercial mindset and an understanding of sales and cost control.

• The ability to coach and develop people.

• Excellent attention to detail.

• A positive attitude and the ability to bring energy to the team.

Most importantly, you need to be someone who takes ownership.
