Cleaning Personnel - Various Roles Available

Summary

We are hiring Casual, Part-time & Full-time cleaners who can handle detail cleaning & waste management work. Clients range from multi-storey office buildings to residential apartments. We currently have positions available in residential apartment common area cleaning. 

The ideal candidates will be passionate about creating a welcoming environment through good presentation and expected level of hygiene. We’re looking for cleaning specialists who will exceed client expectations, ensuring that floors are spotless, common amenities are sparkling, and rubbish removal is managed well and on schedule. 

Your duties and responsibility include:

• Cleaning of all communal areas, kitchen, and break rooms

• Vacuuming, mopping office floor and communal areas

• Sanitising equipment and touch point areas

• Disposal of rubbish & waste management

• Cleaning spills, broken glass and other messes up safely and promptly

• Refilling supplies, such as toilet paper and paper towels

• Ensure common area remain clear and free of debris

• Clean/wipe desks, tables and other furniture as required

• Clean internal glass, internal and external door glass

• Spot cleaning soft furnishings and dusting hard surfaces

• Operating handheld powered equipment such as blowers, vacuum cleaners and polishers

• Sweeping and mopping

• Toilet cleaning

• Performing maintenance activities related to cleaning including the maintaining machinery and equipment such as floor buffing machine, cleaning of vacuum cleaner equipment, replace mop heads, etc

• Rotate bins and bin room management

• Move the bins to and from the street frontage for weekly collection

• Coordinating with other Cleaners and/or Supervisor to keep the buildings clean and service quality/standard is maintained for each building

Shifts

• Weekdays & Weekends 

• Must be flexible to assist with other shifts based on the requirements of the buildings

The successful candidate will possess the following skills:

• Ability to handle and use cleaning equipment (Buffer machine, Scrubbers, Vacuums)

• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage and disposal methods

• Great communication, organisation skills and the ability to work as a Team

• Self-motivation and the ability to identify and complete needed tasks without direct supervision

• Must be physically fit and able to meet the demands of the job

• Working with a customer service focus, keen eye for detail and commitment in the work you deliver

• Have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle

• Ability to manage waste management

• Are reliable, punctual, and well presented

• Can commit to long-term employment

• Successful candidate must be willing to provide a recent Australian National Police Check
