Security Officer

About the Role

Securecorp is currently seeking an exceptional Full-Time Security Officer to provide outstanding customer service and emergency response capabilities at a high-profile retail site. This role offers the opportunity to work within a supportive and professional team environment while delivering high-quality security services to clients and the public.

The position operates on a balanced 4 days on / 4 days off rotating roster consisting of 2 day shifts and 2 night shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver professional security services with a strong customer-focused approach.
• Monitor, patrol, and safeguard assigned premises.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, alarms, incidents, and calls for assistance.
• Assess and mitigate risks across a range of situations.
• Manage access control and maintain secure entry and exit points.
• Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records.
• Operate CCTV systems for monitoring and surveillance purposes.
• Perform concierge and reception duties with a professional presentation.
• Undertake administrative duties to support site operations.

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will require:

• Current Security Licence (essential).
• Current Control Room Licence (essential).
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
• Exposure to retail security is ideal 
• Excellent personal presentation and professionalism.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work rotating rosters including nights and weekends.
• Positive attitude with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
