About the role

An organised professional who will oversee day-to-day administration, payroll, financial tracking, and crucial stock reconciliations. This role suits a detail-oriented problem solver who understands agricultural supply chains and thrives in a fast-paced primary production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile daily harvested papaya counts against market & retail sales, agent & retail receipts

• Track fruit consignments, verify transport freight invoices against dispatch logs, and resolve manifest discrepancies

• Manage invoicing & use for fruit boxes, waste and cross check pricing

• Manage end-to-end fortnightly farm payroll, tracking hourly logs, communicating and correcting any discrepancies

• Handle accounts payable/receivable, produce fortnightly reports for the GM

• Manage direct and seasonal worker onboarding, maintain visa compliance records, and draft employment documentation

About you

• Proven experience in a farm office, packing shed, or agribusiness environment

• Strong background in inventory tracking, stocktaking, and logistics reconciliation

• High-level Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and strong working knowledge of accounting software like MYOB

• Prior experience with fruit marketing, central market agents, or freight logistics is highly advantageous

• Excellent time management, sharp attention to detail, and a proactive attitude
