TRANSPORT / FUEL INDUSTRY SCHEDULER

Fuel Distributors of WA Pty Ltd has a position available for an Experienced Transport / Fuel Industry Scheduler to join their team based in Kwinana.

Commencing in 1999, Fuel Distributors of WA has successfully become a leading bulk fuels and lubricants distributor in the Western Australian market

The Role:

Reporting to the Transport Manager the role is responsible for the effective scheduling of fuel products for delivery to retail and commercial customers.  The role liaises closely with customers and transport operators to schedule the delivery of product in a safe, cost effective and efficient manner ensuring our customer needs are met in the timeframes we have committed to.

We are therefore seeking applicants with detailed knowledge of the Road Transport Industry with experience in load configurations, weights, safe driving hours, Perth Metro and Regional WA experience.

Experience and Qualifications Required:

The successful applicants must have:

• Previous experience in scheduling (preferable in the fuel distribution industry).

• Previous experience in logistics.

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to respond quickly to changing priorities and make sound decisions in a fast-paced operational environment.

• Demonstrated competency of Microsoft Office products.

• Previous experience in the transport of dangerous goods would be beneficial.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Understanding of relevant Australian transport legislations for the safe delivery of dangerous goods and driver fatigue management.

• Extensive knowledge of the Perth Metro area and Regional WA road networks.

• Ability to work under pressure either autonomously or as part of a team environment.
