🌟 Nursery Room Leader & Assistant Educator

We are on the lookout for an experienced Room Leader and passionate Assistant Educator to join our beautiful Nursery team!

We have permanent opportunities available across 4–5 days per week, with rotational shifts between 6:30am–6:30pm.

About You

As our Nursery Room Leader, you will:

• Lead and support your team to create a warm, nurturing and high-quality Nursery environment

• Guide the planning and implementation of meaningful, play-based experiences tailored to babies' individual routines, needs and development

• Build strong and trusting relationships with children and their families

• Support and mentor the educators within your team

• Lead by example and create a positive, collaborative room culture

• Take pride in high-quality documentation, communication and everyday practice

As an assistant Educator, you will:

• Support the care, wellbeing and development of our youngest children

• Assist in creating engaging, responsive and developmentally appropriate experiences

• Follow and support individual routines, including sleep, feeding and care routines

• Build warm, respectful relationships with children, families and your team

• Work collaboratively alongside the Room Leader and other educators

• Bring patience, initiative and a genuine love for working with babies

For both roles, we're looking for educators who are warm, nurturing, reliable and passionate about giving children the very best start.

Qualifications & Requirements

To be successful in these roles, you will have:

• A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or be actively studying towards your Diploma

• Previous experience working in an Early Childhood Education and Care setting

• Experience working with babies is highly regarded

• Room Leader applicants: Previous Room Leader or leadership experience is highly regarded

• A current Working with Children Check and National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)

• Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management certificates, or willingness to obtain

• A sound understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)

• A strong commitment to upholding and embedding the Child Safe Standards

• A commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice
