Payroll Officer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join our dynamic team at Bespoke Payroll. This part-time or casual role will be responsible ongoing payroll processing for our existing client base.

What you'll be doing

1. Manage the on-boarding and implementation of new clients, ensuring a seamless transition to our payroll services

2. Processing payroll for our clients and providing an end-to-end serviced experience

3. Liaise with clients to understand their unique requirements and configure our systems accordingly

4. Troubleshoot and resolve any payroll-related issues that arise

5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and provide detailed reporting

6. Staying up to date with changes to payroll legislation and regulations, updating our processes accordingly

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar payroll officer role

2. Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation, including taxation, superannuation and industrial relations

3. Excellent numeracy and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail

4. Proficient in using payroll software and accounting systems - ideally with experience using Employment Hero Payroll software

5. Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities

6. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
