We are currently seeking a motivated Yardperson to support operations at our new Rockhampton branch.

About the Role

In this hands-on role, you will support the day-to-day operations of the branch and help ensure equipment and facilities are maintained to a high standard.

Your responsibilities will include:

• General yard duties, including cleaning and preparation of hire equipment and maintaining the branch - Forklift license a must

• Supporting daily branch operations, including deliveries when required

• Assisting mechanics within the workshop

• Participating in in-house training for machinery operation

• Maintaining and contributing to a strong safety-first culture

• Working collaboratively with the team to ensure excellent customer service

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:

• A current driver’s license and reliable transport

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

• Good communication skills and a positive team attitude

• Commitment to workplace health and safety practices

• Ability to follow instructions and ask questions when needed

• Demonstrated reliability and punctuality

• Excellent customer service skills

The following would be highly regarded:

• Mechanical aptitude or experience

• Experience working in a yard, workshop, or industrial environment
