HD Workshop Mechanic

Clear Cut Interventions provide complete intervention solution strategies in addition to Hydraulic Workover, Surface Drilling, Slickline/Wireline Intervention, Downhole Fishing Tool design, engineering, and project management services as required by our broad range of clients.

We are seeking to employ a professional and suitably experienced Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our growing team. Based in our Redcliffe Workshop with occasional field work, you will be providing integral and effective assistance to both our onshore and offshore services throughout Australia. 

About the role:

• Maintain and repair heavy mobile equipment, drill rigs, and specialized mechanical and hydraulic equipment.

• Execute scheduled servicing, component change-outs, and preventive maintenance

• Troubleshooting complex mechanical and hydraulic faults on heavy vehicles, diesel engines, and drill rig

• Respond to urgent onsite breakdowns in remote or offshore environments

• Provide guidance to apprentices and workshop technicians

• Take ownership of your role and responsibilities

• Promote a positive safety culture in the workplace

About you:

• Trade Certificate (Heavy Commercial Vehicle, Mobile Plant, or Mechanical Fitter)

• Relevant high-risk tickets

• Strong commitment to stringent oil and gas safety (HSE) protocols

• Effective communication within a small team

• Knowledge of Oil & Gas systems and equipment highly regarded

• Manual ‘C’ class drivers' licence

• HR licence desirable.
