Storeperson/Picker Packer/Driver - Casual

About the role

Story Fresh Rocklea is seeking a casual Storeperson/Picker Packer/Driver to join our dynamic warehouse and distribution team. We are looking for two reliable, hardworking and versatile all-rounders to join our warehouse team on a casual basis, Monday to Friday , start time varying between night and early morning starts, with some Saturdays required from time to time. This is a casual position based in Rocklea, QLD 4106, offering the opportunity to work across multiple functions within our fast-paced warehousing and logistics operation. You will play a vital role in ensuring our products are efficiently stored, picked, packed, and delivered to our customers. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in getting the job done correctly and can work confidently both independently and as part of a team.

What you'll be doing

• Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently

• Checking orders carefully to ensure the correct products and quantities are dispatched

• Stock rotation and maintaining product quality

• Receiving, checking and putting away incoming stock

• Loading and unloading vehicles safely

• Preparing orders for dispatch

• Multi-drop deliveries in a small truck or van

• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely, professionally and on time

• Completing delivery paperwork and/or recording delivery information as required

• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse

• Assisting with stock counts and inventory control

• General warehouse duties and housekeeping

• Following food safety, workplace health and safety and company procedures

• Assisting other areas of the business when required

• Being flexible and willing to take on other reasonable duties as needed

What we're looking for

• Reliable, punctual and has a strong work ethic

• Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution centre environment is highly desirable

• Experience with picking and packing operations

• Valid driver's licence (current and unrestricted) for light delivery driving duties

• Forklift licence and high reach experience is highly desired

• Physical fitness and ability to lift and carry goods regularly, with safe manual handling practices

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfilment

• Excellent organisational and time management skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

• A proactive approach to health and safety in the workplace

• Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and support flexible casual scheduling

• Friendly and professional when dealing with customers

• Able to follow instructions and take initiative when required
